Police Cup Tournament 2011

Although it was an U-17 tournament, taking part in it would provide the C Division girls exposure and valuable match experience. Around 10 schools took part & it was played in a round-robin format.
Considering that the girls trained in the morning & had to still participate in the tournament under the blistering sun, the girls gave a good fight. They won 1, drew 1 and lost 2, thus they could not advance to the knock-out round.
One thing to improve would be mental strength. No matter how good a school's track record is, the battle is still to be fought on the pitch and admitting defeat mentally is almost as good as losing the game altogether.
